The dream
I was falling from the sky, but just before I hit the ground I suddenly began to fly.
Interpretation
Falling from the sky leaves you with nothing to hold on to. As the ground gets closer, the danger feels immediate, and there seems to be no time to stop it. Then, just before impact, you begin to fly. That sudden change may reflect a fear that something in waking life is getting beyond your control. Yet the dream also gives you a feeling of freedom at the moment you most need it. No one catches you; the change comes through your own movement. The ground is still there, but you never hit it.
Psychological view
Falling dreams can draw on the brain's sense of balance and movement during sleep. The approaching ground gives the dream a clear threat; flying changes the outcome before impact. Psychologically, that shift may connect a feeling of lost control with a feeling of being able to respond. The dream alone cannot tell us what, if anything, in waking life brought those feelings up.
Symbolic view
In mystical symbolism, the sky is often linked with possibility, while the ground can stand for the limits of ordinary life. Falling between them can express the fear of losing your place. Flight at the last moment changes your relationship to those limits: instead of being pulled down, you can move freely. This is a symbolic reading of the dream, not a prediction.
