1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dream Decoder (the "Service"), operated by Amedya ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Dream Decoder. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium Plans
Dream Decoder offers free and premium subscription plans. Premium features require an active paid subscription.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annually depending on your chosen plan). Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the app store (App Store / Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide reasonable notice before any price changes take effect.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the dream entries and content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
When you share a dream publicly, you grant other users the ability to view that content. You may make dreams private or delete them at any time.
You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights and does not contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material.
Community standards — zero tolerance
Dream Decoder has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, discriminatory, that promotes self-harm, or that targets another person is prohibited, whether it appears in a public dream, a comment, a profile name or a profile photo. Abusive behaviour towards other members — harassment, bullying, intimidation, spam or impersonation — is likewise prohibited.
We enforce this actively. Every public dream and comment can be reported from within the app, and every member can block any other member. A block immediately hides the blocked person's dreams and comments from you, prevents them from following, liking or commenting on your dreams, and notifies us so we can review their account. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we remove objectionable content and eject users who post it, without notice and at our sole discretion. Accounts that violate these standards may be suspended or terminated permanently.
By using the Service you agree to these community standards. If you are not willing to abide by them, do not create an account or use the Service.
6. AI-Generated Content
Dream interpretations are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for entertainment and reflective purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated interpretations. Do not rely on dream interpretations for medical or mental health decisions.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Post content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service or its content
- Use automated means to access or interact with the Service without our permission
- Impersonate other users or create fake accounts
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, graphics, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Amedya and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMEDYA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including immediately upon any breach of the community standards in Section 5. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
